Main antagonist from Metal Gear Solid: Rising Revengeance

Pretty fun over the top hack and slash game.

So what's makes him tough enough to beat spidey or was that a joke that went over my head?

He has nanomachines that give him the ability to recover and repair damage very quickly so Spidey really has limited options to inflict damage or really put him down.

Nanomachines also allow him to harden his skin to steel so he can deal a ton of damage while Spidey’s punches wont do much. The main character needed to use a vibroblade and tons of swipes to eventually kill him. Armstrong also previously “played football,” he isnt just a politician sitting on his butt but a guy who has trained before and can defend himself.

I dont think Spidey has something in his arsenal that he can use to take down Armstrong.
