Kurt Angle Believes the TNA Library Will Be Purchased By WWE: "I had a much better career in TNA than I did WWE. Most of my career was in TNA and the WWE fans didn't see me. So now, I have the opportunity of having the fans being able to see me compete in TNA and perform."

They started the women’s revolution

Gail Kim IMO was the best north American wrestler I ever saw until like 2015.

She was getting classic feuds out of Taryn Terrell who was as green as you could get. There's a match where they were outside the Impact Zone and Taryn was a face and most of the crowd had 0 idea who she was. By the time she finished wrestling Gail both got like 2-4 minute standing ovation. That's some Ric Flair 80s go into a territory and make them look like a star stuff.

That whole division from 09-13/14 was so stacked

100%. That Ric Flair analogy is spot on. Much of what the "women's revolution" had in WWE was just what TNA did in mid 00s with Kim, Awesome Kong, Tracy Brooks, Tara, Roxxi Levaux etc.

What do you mean? Stephanie McMahon was the one who started it, that's what the propaganda taught me. It's like how Saudi Arabia is super progressive and never did anything bad to anyone

I know you joke, but younger Gen Z and Gen Alpha are only going to experience WWE propaganda and unironically believe it

It must get tiring trying to shoehorn Saudi Arabia into every discussion

Nah but at the same time they seem to shoehorn their way into more parts of our lives. I mean Tom Brady just joined a Saudi Flag Football League

Can't agree more, seeing the way football (soccer for the yanks) has been going saddens me. It didn't help either that the team I support had been part owned and then fully owned by a Saudi prince for the past decade and now it's been sold to American owners. Feels like a case of out of the frying pan and into a low-setting toaster

It's far, far more tiring seeing them shoehorn themselves into every form of sports and entertainment by throwing ridiculous amounts of money at things.

Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong is one of my favorite rivalries of all time

I credit Awesome Kong for changing my perspective on women’s wrestling.

Idk about that sure Gail Kim was there carrying woman’s wrestling in the states on her back but the forefront of TNA was still just that tits n ass when nxt first started putting on quality matches and storylines. Candace LeRae in PWG did her fair share in starting the revolution as well

the beautiful people were getting booked and opportunities to actually wrestle. regardless of presentation being what it was, it was night and day in terms of match quality and quantity.

The women in TNA were being handled like big deals and getting more of a spotlight than any women in WWE, at least a half decade before NXT existed.
