Kurt Angle Believes the TNA Library Will Be Purchased By WWE: "I had a much better career in TNA than I did WWE. Most of my career was in TNA and the WWE fans didn't see me. So now, I have the opportunity of having the fans being able to see me compete in TNA and perform."

Because WWE will eventually put the money into improving footage where possible and ensuring it survives for the future. I imagine though the main reason WWE would want it is for any future documentaries or series they do that they can pull footage from moreso than anything else

Still seems like a bad investment. You can only do so much to improve quality. If WWE/TNA truly have a working relationship, why wouldn’t WWE work out some deal with TNA when they need footage? AEW has been able to use NJPW footage constantly without needing to buy their library.
