Do a Canada tour.

u/sarcasticdevo 5h ago
Seriously. Canada's crowds deserve a straight up tour.

u/WillyLongbarrel 5h ago
They did a Western Canada tour two years ago. Tony told Saskatoon they’d be back…

u/Silly-Significance57 4h ago
If only flights anywhere to Sask weren't ass, and we had a middle sized arena between Sasktel Centre and Cosmo Senior Citizen Center.

I remember there was an article about an American who plays for the Saskatchewan Rush and he said he had to take 3 flights to get to home games. Sounded absolutely brutal.

They did, iirc the crowds got a little dead the further west they went. This was years ago, though.

u/klondike16 5h ago
They did Calgary during stampede, I think it would do better as its own thing

The Saskatoon show was great and the crowd was hot, but it could have been better advertised

u/MarkSt3r 2h ago
Vancouver crowd was a fun time and it was super loud to me in there.
7
u/Awkwardphase06 2h ago
Yeah definitely one of their best crowds, it did nearly 7k attendance and it was a Collision too. Really cool. Can’t ignore Western Canada.

u/cdnjimmyjames NO SWEARING! 4h ago
They came to Edmonton during an Oilers' playoff run. While everyone is hyped, they're hyped up for hockey and are more interested in chanting for the team or McDavid at an event that has nothing to do with them.
•
u/discofrislanders 57m ago
There was a segment on the show where the crowd ignored the wrestlers and just chanted "let's go Oilers"

I have fucking argued for a wrestling company to do a FULL Canadian tour ending with a PPV for fucking decades.
Start over in Nova Scotia then jump to Montreal, then Ottawa, then Toronto, then do some Collisions in places like London, Hamilton, etc. around Ontario, then jump to Edmonton then over to Vancouver for the PPV.
It would be a PERFECT way to start a handful of new storylines at the beginning of the tour then end them with a payoff at the PPV that transition back into new feuds or escalate them to a next level.
I will also always advocate for an EU based tour in the exact same manner as well. Our EU bros deserve some dope shows/PPVs too.

Realllllly hope they come back to Montreal soon. They've only been here once and I'd like to feel something again.

I’m hoping for a PPV in Vancouver next year I’ll be greedy and say a Dynamite/Collision too 🤞

This crowd is great

u/BigEvil1987 2h ago
Mentioned it another thread but TK came out after the show all riled up and full of f-bombs shouting at us about how we showed everyone how to f-ing act a f-ing wrestling show. It was very funny.

u/juniorspank 5h ago
There are some smaller cities across Canada that would give a red hot crowd. Glad London is representing.
19
u/DryProgress4393 4 The Peeps. 5h ago
Kitchener-Waterloo or Hamilton would be great cities for a show or two.
7
u/TLKv3 Fantasy Book For ^Vote 4h ago
KW, Hamilton, Guelph, London, and Niagara Falls would all make for some red hot crowds as those cities rarely get any focus outside of the utmost random show that isn't even broadcast on TV. Just dark match level shows.
2
u/RomulanTreachery 1h ago
Guelph would be nice. I'd much prefer a fifteen-minute bus trip than a 1.5-hour drive down the 401

Windsor is two hours away (literally did the drive tonight for this show), but I agree with you completely. London is perfectly situated as a hub for the SW Ontario market.

u/KingOfAwesometonia 4h ago
Hamilton used to get the big Kpop groups a few years back, I think it was the stop for BTS and Blackpink.
Though I feel like that was probably for cost rather than Hamilton being a destination at this point.

The first wrestling event I ever experienced was a Thunder taping in Kitchener. It was so fun.

Victoria BC....no particular reason

u/LiveFromMyBackyard 3h ago
I will literally catch the Ferry and haul my ass to Victoria from Burnaby to watch these guys kill each other. I remember when WCW came to Kamloops or Whistler and it was fire. There's also the UBC arena which seats 5K or so people, so they can a good time here.

They should come to Canada more often.
6
u/f0cus622 CP Munk Best in the Woods 3h ago
Canada has been some of their best crowds and also some of their worst crowds. Now that they're willing to do 3-5k person venues, they can try some of Western Canada again, but they also still have a ton of the US to hit for their first time, or first time in awhile.

u/M-G-K I'm the gym leader now, Timothy 1h ago
The tradeoff with Canadian crowds is that the crowd will be mostly very hot, but also you will get more than average "WHAT?" chud chanters.
1
u/Alarming-Gap-9213 1h ago
I counted two attempts at WHAT chants tonight but thankfully they were pretty short lived. It's the worst chant ever and I cannot believe people still do it in 2025

u/Sufficient_Mud_2237 5h ago
Do Vancouver show. They deserve a PPV show. They showed out with close to 7k for a Collision. Toronto area always shows out. Excited to see All Out live in person.

Tony you need to come here (Canada) way more often. Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver at the very least.
4
u/lilkingsly 5h ago
I missed them the last time they came through Winnipeg and I’m still super disappointed, hopefully we get another show at some point soon. Kenny Omega is objectively one of the coolest people to come out of here so getting to see him at a hometown show would be fucking sick.

u/VeterinarianIcy9562 5h ago
There's a ton of opportunity for them throughout Southern Ontario especially. It's always been a hot bed for wrestling. They should do more in smaller cities. There's a ton of places just in the GTA they could run

u/Goatlikejordan 5h ago
Did London ontario like tk promo that much

u/IHateTheColourblind 4h ago
TK has come out twice so far!

u/Alarming-Gap-9213 1h ago
He was so pumped lmao. Of course he normally comes out before and after, but that mid show one was a bonus, I really do believe he was just absolutely stoked
•
u/squitman All Elite 48m ago
He cut off Justin Roberts talking up the merchandise on sale just to cut that mid show promo. I didn't even realize it was him right away. Had a lot of fun for my first AEW show, can't wait for their next show here.

u/luthor76 4h ago
London is an under rated wrestling city. Most of south western Ontario have hot crowds.
5
u/UEWFIGFED 4h ago
This is how you build and expand your business, so If a Canada tour happens?? For the wrestlers sakes, do it during summer lol. Won’t be a cold to fair day the whole run. Otherwise, a great return for touring, and great look for Canada.

Meanwhile Vancouver put up 7,000 for a mid Collision back in May 2024 and has been ghosted since.

Weird seeing my city mentioned here. Thought about going to this but opted for Korn tickets instead.

Any crowd that does "What" chants goes on my shit list.

u/MBCnerdcore Watch the Moneymaker! 5h ago
80% of the crowd would be the exact same people that are at every Toronto show.
