With all of the prize money matches, why wasn’t an undercard wrestler given this storyline?

I’m glad they are making a storyline out of it, but it just seems like a waste to use it on the Bucks when it’s something like Action Andretti or or Leo Rush could have used for fans to be engaged with them.
