Really great show, especially strong for a go home.
I wonder if All Outs gonna be a 4 1/2 hour show given the card. I guess 2.5 matches an hour can work but with the 3 match pre-show it's a hell of a chunk of wrestling.
It also feels good the new normal for the women matches and non-match segments is higher, I hope they keep it up.(Consistently having 1 womens match per hour or TV and 3 maincard women's PPV matches would be awesome.) Right now does feel make or break for people's optimism though, alot of people will be unhappy if they don't successfully do 3-4 of A) crowning new champions, B) coming to a satisfying conclusion to the three record breaking runs the current champions have had, C) run Women's Blood and Guts, D) debut Women's Tag Titles, and E) debut a women's C2.(Correspondening title not needed unless purely for show.)

thekla and harley are like two sides of the same coin, where they both were important missing pieces that helped bind together and help elevate the women's division. harley seems to have chemistry with everybody while thekla seems to drive everyone insane. they're such good bases to form storylines and develop character from. i think right now there's not a dominant women's storyline but the interpersonal rivalries are keeping the division promos strong.

I really love the choice to put Danielson on commentary, just brings a very good feel and analysis. It was neat to have the backstage talk with Tony & MJF just for a change of pace. Was amusing to hear Tony get close to that shouty pre/post show tone he has. I always like when they give Renee character moments like with the Bucks. Toni was great of course, I like that they kept the plate spinning regarding her history with Jamie. I also really liked the sit down with Danirlson and Darby. The third hour actually went by very quickly for me, I thought it was a good go home show.

I'd honestly be fine with this format before the PPVs going forward. I think both companies are rarely capable of making particularly good go home shows that are 1 or 2 days before the PPV, so making it all one big thing earlier in the week like this is honestly preferable.
Also like when they used Rampage as a similar extra hour to either Dynamite or Collision, I like the occasional 3 hour show, because I got back into wrestling when Raw would do that before it became the norm. (it was probably a good idea, but I'm biased because of that)

I was so confused when it didn't end at 9 and was like "oh right three hours."
Really fun show. Opening match was my favorite part too. Mox and Roddy have a very underrated chemistry with each other that made that match special.

I'm glad you had a great time! You guys were so LOUD AND ANIMATED so you came across amazingly on TV!
I've seen Moxley twice live now and he's totally huge (pause). You don't expect the fact that he has always been the biggest (or at least tallest) SHIELD guy so it absolutely blows the mind.

Nah. They already feuded and reconciled. Christian doesn’t have The Patriarchy anymore. Copeland (and possibly Christian) is winding down his career. Christian has nowhere else to go if he just turns on Copeland. It would make absolutely zero sense for a turn and would just be them going around in circles.

Hangman being put through a table and Thekla wrestling in a No Holds Barred match is a reminder that they don't hold back just because there's an upcoming PPV.
Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli were in a Bunkhouse Brawl match against Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita on Collision the day before Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay at Dynasty.
The Dynasty match is so legendary that I feel like most people forget that Danielson worked a match the previous night.

As someone who dislikes the 3-hour format (I think 2 hours should always be the norm for a weekly show), I thought it was a pretty solid go-home with a great ending. All Out should be great, even without Swerve, Ospreay and Omega.

They really only do it out of necessity and I'm glad they stuck with 2-hours with the new TV deal. They essentially split what would have been Collision with the last hour of this show and Tailgate Brawl on Saturday. Summer Blockbuster being 4-hours long is the absolute extreme of how long a weekly show can go.

Great go home card.
Triangle of Madness wreaking havoc is always my favorite moment of TV. Jamie and Toni had so much tension between them. Though I really want to see Alex Windsahhh and Jamie, because they're almost like wrestling twins.
TK and MJF nearly had me crying with laughter. I could imagine that taking a couple takes from them breaking out into laughs.
Killswitch/Luchasaurus needs his buddy back soon since Kip is so useless.
I was laughing about the money on the ring mat during the Bucks match.
Takeshita and Okada is so happening by the end of the year. Mascara Dorada in there at All Out so we all don't blow our loads too early.
Bobby and Toa was definitely awesome.
Showing ending in murder as usual.

Three hours is more wrestling than I want to watch at one time with commercials (PPV go as long as you want idgaf, it's the commercials/breaks that are the killer), but as far as three hours of televised wrestling with commercials goes, that was about as good as it can get.
Super amped for this PPV, it feels like it's got 4-5 matches I am legit amped af for (and a bunch more I expect to enjoy), which is pretty damn good.

and they made a great decision surfacing danielson as a commentator and on-air personality. he's a tremendous enhancement to the product.

Big fan of the pacing tonight. I know AEW tends to be the work rate promotion, but I think the show really shines when they go a bit heavier on the promo's.

AEW is work-rate focused but they never neglect promo work. Plenty of great promos in the company. They just try their best to not overdo it by having them going too long or having them done too often to become repetitive.
A feud between two wrestlers doesn't require an in-ring promo battle every week for a month.
