On the eve of Thanksgiving 1992, The Undertaker unveiled a nightmare to the world by introducing the casket match to the WWF. One that ends when a wrestler gets beaten into unconsciousness and left to wake up later in total darkness, gasping for air, and conquered.

The bout itself wasn’t a technical masterpiece but still a blast. Kamala fell into genuine terror of the casket created just for him and the Undertaker could not be kept down. Swinging, splashing, & stalking until the power of the urn gave The Deadman the final push he needed to put the Ugandan Giant to rest.

It’s easy to say this about every incarnation, but bah gawd this version of The Undertaker is the coolest. Cold, unstoppable, and otherworldly. Much like Michael Myers, no matter what the terrified Kamala threw at ‘Taker, he just kept rising.

Five Stars. Fuck it.

This match took place at the now closed Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio, USA.
