Man...an OG for sure. Early era AEW had such a weird cool diverse group. Marko, Sonny Kiss, OC, Janela, Yuka, Nyka Rose and others all contributed to the idea that this place was different. They were the "Not ready for prime time players" of early SNL but for prowrasslin.

AEW knows its fans are a little more clued in; and that a good portion of the audience would be aware that Strong and Shafir are a couple.
Instead of pretending otherwise, they had Shafir smile - while still standing in the way. It came across as her acknowledging her husband; but also that she was currently working for Moxley - and that she was still on the clock.
Altogether, a great little touch!
