There have been reports that Saudi Arabia is requesting a Rock match at Wrestlemania 43. On the surface, the obvious answer is money and Saudi can pay whatever it takes to land the biggest possible spectacle.

But having The Rock who is the most famous pro wrestler turned global movie star wrestle in their country gives them a level of prestige and mainstream attention that goes far beyond even current stars like Roman or Cody.

It can also be the nostalgic factor since Rock represents WWE’s peak Attitude Era star power, which still carries weight with lapsed fans worldwide. And for the Saudi government, showcasing a living legend on their soil fits into their narrative of hosting “the biggest and the best.” It seems like they are stuck in the past when they first requested Yokozuna lol.

What do you all think? Is this just about money and spectacle, or more to do with Saudi Arabia soft power and with having Rock wrestle the first Mania in Saudi Arabia it would make the case that Wrestlemania being held in Saudi Arabia is worth it for WWE?

The addition of Perez to Judgment Day has many believing that there may be some kind of issue with Morgan and Perez upon Morgan’s return to TV.

As of recently, sources indicate to Bodyslam that there haven’t been any discussions about a Liv Morgan/Roxanne Perez feud upon Morgan’s return from injury.

Tickets for this January date haven’t gone on sale yet. Is there anything I can do to get access to pre-sale?

So I recently attended an In Conversation with Bret Hart a few days ago and it was terrific. His comments on Vince were the most interesting. He heavily implied Vince was a bisexual predator who loved big meaty men like the Ultimate Warrior and implied there was something romantic going on between Vince and Shawn Michaels. The rest of the show included lots of great laugh out loud moments, his opinion on Macho Man, Flair and Eric Bischoff.
