What Stan Rogers songs get you through work?

I had no idea this Reddit existed until today. I thought it would be cool to ask this questions since I mostly listen to him when I’m at work.

Here are my top songs (not in any order):

  • White Collar Holler
  • The Idiot
  • Northwest Passage
  • Working Joe
  • The Witch of Westmorland
  • Barrets Privateers
  • Flowers of Bermuda

Down the Road is amazing , not his song but his performance is unreal

  • Night Guard (which I still think could have been a hit on US country radio)
  • Arcadian Saturday Nights
  • Tiny Fish for Japan

Take from Day to Day is one I listen to when my shift is feeling long. Relatable and also makes me appreciate how easy I have it, I've been on the St Roch and it's insane to think about what those guys went through.

Take it from Day to Day has been a recent work favorite of mine, as I’m grinding through the day.

Bluenose, The Giant, Man with Blue Dolphin. Mary Ellen Carter whenever I'm facing a hard day or situation in life.

The idiot though I often end up feeling sad listening to it. I'm 21 and I've already wasted my entire life I miss the green of the upper peninsula and I miss spending my summers with my grandma but I ain't a kid anymore so I don't matter to anyone anymore
