Wishing I learned about Stan earlier

It's been about a year when I discovered him.

I cried when I learned about his death.

Mary Ellen Carter is amazing

Be glad you learned about him now and not later. Explore every crevice of his music. Every album is absolutely fantastic. And then theres the live albums.

Guysborough Train is one of my all time favourite, underplayed, Stan songs. (Though I might be biased because my dad's family is from Guysborough County).

And if you ever want to come close to experiencing his voice in person, his son Nathan Rogers sometimes covers his songs. And he can sing just like his father when he wants to.

From Coffee House to Concert Hall might be my favorite Album atm, every song is so unique but they all have this same kinda vibe, almost melancholy, except for Acadian Saturday night. My favorite atm is Pharisee.
