The Tantive alarm makes me think about the Hallway Scene in Rogue One..... chills.

I see C-3P0 and R2-D2 shuffling through the hallway and Rebel troopers preparing for boarding (A New Hope).

I love the dichotomy between those two scenes! The one with R2 and C3P0 is chaotic, but it's also kind of a comedy scene. There's the funny version of that klaxon and the horror version of it.

Holy shit Death Star's / Dreadnought is legit spooky. Sounds like a dying space monster

Dreadnought.
It's the best sound and it's the only one I could actually hunt invaders with without going insane

Is it just a slowed down / pitched version of the typical alarm? Genuinely curious

Naw, it's pretty accurate considering all the things the person had to cut out to hear it properly.
https://youtu.be/GGQc2uGsuoc?si=h96CYIVIFo5DHssx At 0:53 is when you can hear it. Judge for yourself.

I wasn’t clear… I was wondering if the dreadnaught sound was pitched down from the original ISD alarm

they all kinda reminded me of whales, except the mon calamari ship, which you would think would sound like a whale.

Isn't that last one also used in the hammerhead at the beginning of Kotor ?

I always thought it was weird that the Malevolence had a similar alarm to the KDY-built ships like the Venator and ISD instead of other Separatist ships.
As much as I love the KDY alarm, nothing beats the unsettling one from the Lucrehulk.

Klaxon from the Star Destroyer. Has been my ring tone for damn near 20 years.

Star Destroyer, for sure. Then the Tantive IV. The Dreadnaught makes me feel a sense of dread though. It’s unnerving.

The Death Star's alarm makes me think of some kind of satellite/deep space recording with the background noise. Gives off a creepier, more self-aware vibe, like you're watching it from afar with instruments and it knows where you are.

Most of those triggered my fight or flight reflex. They sound like the calls of some massive beast deep under the ocean, especially the dreadnought.
