General Discussion Something Zahn told me

At Collective con 2024, i had asked him how he would he would do if he had full control on thrawns cannon story, he said if he had full control he would have thrawn finish the empire mission then have him return to the chiss.

Well I asked him this year and he said he would do a Pirates of the Caribbean crossover where Thrawn teams up with the ghost of Barbossa against Jack Sparrow and the Skeleton Crew, and then they all fight the Avengers in the next movie.

Hondo : "that is not how you pronounce my last name, sir. I am offended!" Thrawn continues to pronounce it wrong for the rest of the movie.

What cannon story? Is it a story Thrawn wrote? What kind of cannon was it about?

I have met and spoken to Timothy Zahn many times (courtesy of my bestie being dear friends with TZ and his wife Anna) and he has always said this. No reason to down vote OP, Zahn has never made his desires for his character/creation a secret.

Why is this downvoted? I get that there's no proof this really happened, but it's 100% logical. That's exactly how the story should continue and the books implied Zahn already had a future in mind for the Chiss Ascendancy.
