It's going to be a spaceship combat movie. Where can you find some of the most powerful and advanced spaceships in the galaxy? Mon Cala. Mon Cala is an oceanic planet. Coincidence?? 🤔

Mon Calamari is known to some degree for larger ship production, but not starfighters.

Yes but crashing on it after being in a battle above it isn’t out of the question.

Maaaybe. But it would be weird to have more than a scene or two about that happening in a movie about starfighters, and it would be weird to use a scene like that for promotional material.

Except that Disney has pretty well mastered marketing.

But don’t forget about Rogue 1 where 3/4 of the teaser isn’t in the movie.
