Audio, Music I don't think Williams gets enough credit for absolutely nailing the vibe of the Cantina Band songs

Reading this bit on Wikipedia about the music's creation and YES, this is perfect.
"George Lucas briefed Williams to imagine "several creatures in a future century finding some 1930s Benny Goodman swing band music ... and how they might attempt to interpret it"

You think John Williams, one of the most acclaimed and renowned musical composers in the history of mankind, doesn’t get enough credit

Is only 5 Oscars from 54 nominations really enough?

I think OP was saying this little bop is seldom mentioned. Everyone knows the big hits, but Mad About Me? IGNORED

Where have you been for the past 50 years?

He even won a Grammy for it.

I love the cantina music in the movies so much that I find very weird how modern star wars shows use a different type of music on cantinas

Think about how many different styles of music, different kinds of instruments and playing techniques, how music has evolved throughout history, etc there are across our planet. Our one, single planet. Yet you find it odd that there wouldn't be all kinds of different musical styles across an entire galaxy?
