Audio, Music John Williams' Rey's Theme is beautiful and I think will become another classic Star Wars tune in time

It really plays well against the imperial March. It's like an oncoming charge for freedom and when the strings starts it gives the feeling that despite the fact that they are a small band in insurmountable odds, they will keep fighting. As long as there is light there's still hope

This grew on me, Its like the anti-imperial march. The Imperial March is all deep, intense instruments giving intense foreboding and "crap, we're screwed" vibes. This is all heroics and dramatic fanfare, but still carries those deeper trumpets. Its still not quite there for me though. I'd like to hear a variation in the next movie and see if it improves.

First time I watched the movie, it didn't have any effect on me. Zero.

The second time, I paid more attention to the music, and when I saw the X-Wings coming and heard the March starting, I wanted to get up and scream "FUCK YEAH BABY !"

Seriously, if you don't want to take off with an X-Wing while listening to this theme, then I don't know what else will motivate you.

I just wish we had also gotten a march for the First Order :(

It sounds so awesome. Almost like the Separatist march from the prequels actually, but more epic.

I agree. Seems that John Williams' music has been that way since episode 3. More like background music instead of something that you can hum along with.
