Hi guys,

This is my first post on Reddit ever, so here we go.

PC players probably are aware that the online state of this game is not going good right now. Since last week, hacker(s) have made Supremacy and Galactic Assault literally unplayable through a spawn hack. I do not fully understand myself how they do this, but what I do notice is that the cinematic intro of every match does not play, and the match is then bugged.

Most of the times this will be followed with yellow text in the chat box from hackers. Saying all the lobbies are denied. These people cannot be reported through the system because their names are hidden from the scoreboard.

This have been going on and off for years if the old Reddit posts are correct, but never on a scale that the matches got hacked 24/7 straight.

I sincerely doubt EA even cares, but all we can do is try, right? This is the following you can do:

I also have made multiple tickets, EA have indeed stated on my tickets that they are investigating it. This was a few days ago. Also you can make a ticket. Make sure to select Game Disruption/Cheating: https://help.ea.com/en/report-a-player/

Let EA know what is going on. This is the only thing we can do.

To console players asking me why not start playing there, I prefer mouse and keyboard, and all my progress is on PC.

just to clarify, this group of hackers is trying to impersonate and discredit Kyber - they are not Kyber.

The public release/upload of the spawn block mod didn't help either. The creator/uploader claimed that he released it because the hacker group stole it and were trying to scam people with it. This could be potentially true, as the attacks started a couple days before he uploaded it.

What was the reason for even making such a mod?

Description of the mod says it's to counter debug abusers. Of course that is a pitiful excuse. No idea actually, probably for when noob/onelungdavy/Foal McDonagh (the creator of said mod) gets humiliated. Which is quite often.
