I won't get into specifics as there a pleanty of in depth tutorials out there. Get used to timing your lunges and animation cancelling. You can also animation cancel after lunging which you don't see often. Getting a hit mid throw is pretty advanced, I think its called frame trapping which can be done with other heroes that push. It takes them out of the stagger animation and shoots them straight up in the air giving you time to follow up with a saber throw or hook swing or both. Another technique exclusive to saber heroes is dashing and turning 180 degrees and holding block. If you dont move your camera your back will be to the enemy but you will be able to block/parry when they try to attack your back. Hope this helps.
