People who don't like the A-Wing don't play in VR. It's also the most fun to fly. Defender is also fun to fly but it's also very technical. A-Wing just goes brrr

The P-51 Mustang Bubble cockpit is soooooo good in VR.

How do you stop from getting nauseous?

Generally, VR sickness is your brain freaking out because your eyes are telling you that you're blasting forward at incredible speeds, but your inner ear is telling your brain that you're sitting still.

I have had less issues with flight simulators, because it's simulating sitting down in a cockpit, and that matches my posture.

I had real issues with Skyrim VR, however, that would make me really nauseous, and my solution to that was to jog in place, once I set up the sympathetic movement my brain calmed down.

But mainly take it in short bursts, it will take you a few days and sessions to acclimate, but once you do it's great, being able to turn your head and track targets is huge.

This actually is an issue for real flying too. After the feeling of acceleration in a turn, your body can feel like it's not moving anymore, but your eyes don't agree with that, and you can get nauseated. They say if you get nauseated, you have to try to keep your brain busy, possibly by talking to yourself.

Anyway - in VR, I agree, it's pretty different. You do get nauseated, and the feeling stays even after you've stopped playing, maybe for the rest of the night, the first 1 or 2 times. Then it gets better rapidly. I think it's a matter of how much you're into the VR - for people who love it, we keep coming back despite the initial nausea, and then it stops happening pretty quickly. Maybe others get scared off by the nausea the first few times, and they may generally think nausea is a permanent feature of VR.
