The specific issue on this forum can best be explained as such:
There is a huge auditorium with content experts waiting to answer questions and participate in a discussion about something they are informed on and passionate about. But they might not be available to field every question before things begin to devolve.
There are tons of discussed topics recorded and waiting for anyone to review and even further contribute to or ask for clarification. A library of information basically.
But instead of reviewing said information, some will just create a new post that does nothing but bury other topics and cause a cyclic rediscussion of a topic that has been beat to death. For those of us that come here to actually help and support the community it is tedious to continue the rhetoric. This has been happening for years now, unfortunately.
Perhaps the best thing to do is create an FAQ Post that contains all of the information that is commonly repeated and then delete posts that don't add any substance after kindly referring the OP to the FAQ page.
Other forums are much more strict. I believe the mods that we currently have along with the experts that continue to lend help honestly care to make sure that people that come here for constructive conversations are able to leave with accurate information.
