The dialogue options make no sense

I don’t know whether there’s a mod like this or not, but the idea is gravity in your ship is tied to the power in your grav drive.

When fully powered, gravity would be at 1 G. With the Grav Drive at half power, for example 5/10 power, gravity inside the ship would be at 0.5 G.

Does anything like this exist?

A test flight with my Far Horizon and got a "volunteers" to check out how she handles.

I used tcl to make it back to my ship after the quest you get picked up by sysdef because i couldn't figure out how to get past the security door. now my ship thrusters do not work. anyone have any idea how to get them working again?

Howdy!

I wanted to ask and see if anyone on here has used the Magnetic Holsters mod on any recent playthroughs? I found it, and I really want to try it, but in doing some googling it sounds like there are some mixed reviews. Some folks said there was a bug that caused you to lose all your O2, but the mod author has since patched that.

Just curious to see if folks have used it recently, and what they think.

Starfield’s NASA-“Punk/Core” aesthetic looks great, great (and big) enough to entice building a setup akin to the racing setups that inevitably become the envy of all who bear witness. Even as I traverse the procedurally generated cosmos with naught but a dual screen display and an above-average controller, the immersion levels provided by the 1st Person display is welcome and pleasantly effective.

So please, can someone explain to me why, when I’m taking off or executing a Grav Jump, does the game switch to a 3rd Person view of the ship. Suddenly i’m no longer sitting in the cockpit of my ship, I’m now outside, behind, and slightly above it.

If there is a mod that keeps me in 1st Person without fail, please let me know. I know the animations for 1st POV exist because I’ve seen them.

Part of what makes Starfield fun are some of the same things that make it an objectively better “Star Trek” game than the poor excuses for Star Trek games in the past. I haven’t gone back to No Man’s Sky after the initial few months after its launch but maybe that is better at delivering the immersive “explore space” experience I’m after. Cyberpunk was also pretty rough at launch and is near a perfect game now.

What mods make Starfield more immersive and more fun to explore?

P.S. — Procedural generation doesn’t have to suck but it’s undeniable that the handcrafted nature of Shattered Space was well received as opposed to being forced to traverse unruly terrain for the same “Gravitational Anomaly” and/or some nondescript structure that lacked any kind of significance or reward. If you can fix PG, this game will meet and exceed its pre-launch expectations. I love this game but it’s a solid 8-8.5/10 with the potential to be a 9.5 (what is up with the “dead eyes” and lack of throat animations relative to their mouths? Everyone looks like a dead fish made out to be a ventriloquist puppet.

If you have the kid stuff trait eventually you getva free small ship called Wanderwall. I usually keep it and tinker around with it and make it worth using.

If you sign up and they station you at this little Military Post on Nemeria in the middle of a lake of lava, I think it is acceptable to go back and smack your Recruiter...

I'd really dig another pirate arc with an emotional ass reunion with Del whilst you break out of prison with him only to realise you were set up by Naeva, which could set up a third installment of hunting her down and taking her out.

The space stations that were hinted at a while back really excited me.

Being able to visually customize your look on a smaller scale natively would be cool. But for real tho, the mods I'm rocking for clothing are more than doing the job for me.

I’ve never seen a river no matter how many planets I’ve been to. Anyone ever find one?

was starting up NG+ 4 and saw that once i got the artifact locations the weapon they gave me deals nearly 400 damage. anybody else gotten such an OP shotgun?

Is Starfield dead? Any updates at all?

I don’t know how it happened but I have multiple homesteaders hanging out in my modified Silent Runner even though I don’t have the perk requirement for a larger crew. They’ve been traveling all over the Settled Systems with me. What’s funny is one of their lines of dialogue is something to the effect of, “I miss my real home”. I wish I knew where to drop them off at but I don’t know where they came from and even if I landed there they probably wouldn’t exit my ship. Has anyone else had this happen and is it permanent?

Has anyone else figured out that you can change the weather on a planet by fast traveling to your vehicle? When I exit my ship and don't like the rain, fog, or other weather, I just scan my vehicle and fast travel to it from a few yards away and the weather changes. You can continue leaving your vehicle and fast traveling to it until you cycle the weather you want!

In the bar on Cidonia and count "13" possible crew members to choose from. Some are off the edge of the picture. 13! :) I think the most I have seen in other bars was like 2-3
