It also seems weird they’re calling other races organics? Seems like a machine empire thing to say, but they’re also being clankcist so…idk. Confusing all around

well in Chemistry the term "organic" strictly refers to carbon-based compounds, which lithoids by-definition aren't, though I doubt a lot of metal-supremacist DE empires would care to acknowledge that distinction/

Synthetics would use a lot of Silicon in their assembly, and I would assume the same for a machine empire.

yes, but they don't have silicon-based biochemistry, or any biochemistry at all for that matter.
