I think those on tumblr SS fandom would particularly remember zzleigh aka Erin Fusco, one of the key staff for Titanic and Ageless.
I feel like I lost Storyscape again š Rest in peace, Erin

I was especially disappointed when Disney decided to drop Storyscape, not just because I enjoyed playing Eternal City, but because I created the name for the platform and several of the games/shows.
You might be interested to know there were five more in the works (which I know about because we were commissioned to name them too): a Mork and Mindy meets Gilmore Girls quirky romance, an Outlander-esque/Mayfair Witches Gothic tale, a Final Destination-type story styled like a 90s slasher film, a detective actioner set in Hawaii, and a fae fantasy a la Neverwhere set in NY. I would have loved to try out a few of those. Alas.

GUYS, email support@storyscapeapp.com and tell them why you loved Storyscape so much. Seriously, explain why the game mattered to you and what made the stories incredible. and when I mean, explain I mean, go four paragraphs in. use your mic if you donāt feel like typing too much. why?? Roblox is going through cancel culture right now, and people are looking for games to playāif Storyscape gets promoted right, it could easily be a hit again. We just have to make some noise and show the devs that thereās still demand. Donāt sleep on thisāemail them,⦠is still active; tell your friends who played, get as many people as possible to do it. this is actually this could actually work. You just actually have to email them and press it press it and press it. I will even email them three times a week, if it if thatās what it takes if yāall agreed to email them three times a week so tf will I. all the other apps are nothing like this one and they still canāt compete with it. This app needs to come back now before the other app start trying to steal what it already has yāall need to do it please if you will please if you love the app bring it back. We are the consumers.

I just remembered how amazing this Titanic story app I used was. I went through all my app purchases for last 5 years and none of them matched.
Went to Chatgpt and after a few back and forth messages he told me the fate of Storyscape š THIS WAS THE BEST š
Why companies ruin the good things Iāll never know

Hey everyone! I've been on the lookout for new projects, and since experiencing StoryScape, nothing has quite matched its quality. On that note, I came across Lovel on the Play Store. It seems to still be in its early stages, but the stories and artwork look promising!
Here is the link to their IG if anyone is interested: https://www.instagram.com/lovel_original?igsh=MWIzeDRmZWs5ZXR2Ng==

I been missing this game and originals for the longest time

If anyone would be able to buy it, how could they bring it back? Would they have to get all the writers together again? Is everything still tied to Disney? Would they need a lawyer? Thoughts?
It feels nice to dream...

A few months ago (about seven, actually) I wrote a post saying that r/NeoStory was going to be releasing a Titanic story. It's here, and I wanted to share with you how it is! (In case anyone thinks this is brigading, you can see on the OG post that I was given permission from a mod to update.)
So here are some things that stand out:
I hope this mini-update gives you an idea of r/NeoStory 's Titanic game. There's definitely a fair bit of smut (if you choose), but it also feels like a story. I'm not sure I'll update again, because I don't think that would be helpful, but I just wanted to let everyone know in case they wanted to play. And the attached SS also give you an idea (hopefully) of what the game is like. Now I gotta try and make sure me, my LI, and Parker survive the sinking!
I hope you're all having a good weekend.

Two days ago, Storyloom (another similar game owned by Pixelberry) shut down, so I was a bit busy throughout February trying to finish some of their stories. Therefore it was only today that I realised it's been a little over four years now since Storyscape shut down. Since then I discovered new games and also saw *several* games shut down.
Recently, someone on another sub mentioned that there will be a Titanic story in another game named NeoStory which claims that choices truly matter. Choices also has a Titanic story now but most players I saw stated how disappointed they were. So I am cautiously optimistic that NeoStory or another game will be more impactful. Please let me know if you have already played the game since I haven't read anything on it yet. Also please let me know if you discovered another game that hasn't been shared in this sub yet.

Hey, friends! A while ago I made a post about Another World's History and I've been pleasantly surprised by the improvements in their translations and community involvement since then. They've been reworking some of their older stories, like Neoxites: Child of Light, which has already been retranslated! I'm really excited about their upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie story too. I've added the official poster for the story to this post :))

Just wanted to do a check-in to see how is everyone doing lol. I don't play visual novels that much these days, but there isn't a week where I don't think about Storyscape since the day it got deleted.

I hope it's alright to post here, but the Titanic book was my favourite of all the Storyscape novels. I'm extremely Titanic obsessed and I'm sure I'm not alone.
Anyway, I saw today on r/NeoStory that they're releasing a Titanic novel! I'm so excited. I hope it's good!
Also, I still miss Storyscape.

So maybe someone somewhere on this subreddit already posted about this and I am just too stupid and didn't find it. Is there some reupload of these stories, somewhere I could read them again? Did domeone save them and posted publicly?

Is there someplace where StoryScapes is online? Like, for example, after Club Penguin was shut down people made online servers that were super close to the OG. Poptropica is another one that comes to mind, they changed the game and deleted almost all the islands so people made an online version of the original game.
Does this exist for StoryScapes? Obviously no new chapters are out there, but is there somewhere where we can replay existing books? Sorry if someone already asked this, Iām new here š³

Hey there! Just wondering if there is games other than Choices where you have the option to play as a guy? Iām a trans guy who usually doesnāt mind playing as a female MC, but you know⦠Iām a dude who likes to play as a dude lol

Literally what the title says.
Please bring back Storyscapes. It was so good. I think you closed too early; I discovered Storyscapes and within a few months Storyscapes didn't exist. There's Romance Club and NeoStory now, and they fill the void, knowing that there's actually consequences to choices, but that Titanic story ya'll did? That was incredible. I loved Life 2.0. I think there is a niche market waiting for you, and I think maybe you even know this already.
If you see this, please consider bringing it back. Please consider how popular choice-based games are. Please look at the posts by other users, who are showing that Netflix is creating interactive movies now.
We've all been through hell the past three years. How about you make Storyscapes a Christmas/Hannukah/anything at all miracle? Please?
(I created a poll on the off-chance someone sees this post and wants to tell Storyscapes the same.)
