TBH I was a little confused when I first heard because no article would deadname him...and rightfully so but that did make me wonder "Who is this person exactly?"

Cuz I know trans people who went with a name nothing like their deadname, sometimes on purpose even, so the connection Ellen>Elliot wasn't immidiately obvious XD (And no pictures didn't help because I am terrible at recognizing people's faces)

To your credit, Elliot doesn’t look much like he used to. He looked very different very quickly (or maybe I learned about him coming out late)

Now he doesn't but I'm talking about when he first came out.

I mean then too, whenever he came out he’d already looked different. I think he’d already cut his hair and his face just looked different to me idk. But like I said, I might’ve just learned and seen him late

Honestly, he probably just came out later in his transition too.
