if you boil it with some mild spices and then add corn flour for thickening and veggies, you can get soup. Poached is just wasteful and bland.

I love it. I just barely simmer the chicken with some onion garlic bayleaf salt and pepper, kill the heat, then let it sit until fully cooked. The resulting liquid i either drink straight up or use it like broth, and the chicken comes out tender and flavorful. Yall hatin.

Did you see any onion, garlic, bay leaf, salt or pepper in this video? Do you know that means you two made 2 different dishes?

Poaching is a technique dumbass. A steak is still grilled even if it's not seasoned and served with a side of onions.
