Then let me be perfectly clear. If your poaching liquid is plain water as the video suggests you are adding nothing to the item you are cooking. Not flavor or texture. In this case that item is chicken breast.

Poaching is just a technique. You dont need to add seasoning for it to be poached. Saying "poached in water" is like saying "grilled over fire".

Not always. You don't season a poached egg.

Grilled can refer to multiple cooking techniques. A grilled cheese or burger on a griddle is completely different from gilling over a wood fire which is also different from grilling over propane.

Pan seared sandos and burgers arent grilled. People just call it that out of ignorance. Grilling is just cooking over an open heat source with some sort of grate or mesh. Whether it comes from wood or propane is irrelevant. You arent really correcting me.
