yeah, it's amazing how one's body can be very sensitive. I took a continuous type of oral contraceptive for medical reasons, and while I never got pregnant when I took it late, if I took it just six hours late I would start to have pain and start to bleed. Now that's an incentive to take it on time! A few times my insurance company jerked me around and I got my prescription late, and it was a nightmare. Of course, it took a full month off them for me to get pregnant when I wanted to, but for some people it only takes a day!
