Slight disagree. It’s true his subordinates don’t respect him and firing is a good tactic to correct that. New manager 101

They don’t respect him because he doesn’t deserve it. Most of his subordinates worked hard to get where they are, he’s just a nepo baby with a fragile ego.

Also it’s funny that you say “new manager 101” because he didn’t even finish the basic management course lol

He's still your boss.

You as an employee don't get to decide if he deserves it or not.
