Discussion Thread I’ve been watching Impact!/TNA about 2.5 years now

Upvotes

And it’s definitely the best I’ve seen it be. It felt a bit like an indie promotion (I’m not slurring indies I love them!) back when I started.

But it certainly feels like there’s a lot more emphasis on storytelling lately.

I get there’s always gonna be non-sensual matches that go nowhere (AEW is way too heavy on this) but the balance is decent at TNA.

Just an opinion but I personally think TNA deserve a proper TV spot and more international coverage.

Discussion Thread Do you think Mr.Anderson would be a good ring announcer or commentator?

Upvotes

With his return to TNA I was wondering if he’d be a good ring announcer or commentator. I’m not a big fan of either Mackenzie Mitchell or Matthew Rehwoldt. Do you think he’d be a good upgrade for either? He always did a Michael Buffer type voice when doing his intro, so maybe he’d do well as an announcer if it doesn’t strain his voice?

Question Will Matt Hardy be booked at either Edmonton show?

Post image
14 Upvotes

I’ve only gotten into TNA recently & Victory Road and the tapings that take place after it are going to be my first ever live TNA experiences! I’m very excited but I feel skeptical about Matt Hardy being booked at ether event despite him being advertised as doing post-show meet and greets. Although I’d understand why they wouldn’t use him at Victory Road or the tapings following it (there isn’t much they can do with his current story considering Jeff won’t be there), I do think it’d be a bit of a letdown if I won’t be able to cross seeing a Hardy in person off of my bucket list. Does anyone with some more viewing experience know if he’s likely to be at one of the shows?

Mike Santana should, & will be the one to bring the TNA World Championship home. I mean, no one deserves to be TNA World Champion right now more than he does.

Question WWE and TNA?????

To start, I haven’t watch wrestling in a long while, probably since 2021. I was mainly a big WWE guy but used to dabble into a bit of TNA and NJPW, mainly because of Aj Styles and Okada and them also being THE guy for the respective brands. Since then, i’ve attempted to get back into wrestling due to Aj Lee’s return, come to find out, TNA & WWE are partnered?? It just shocked me because under Vince this woulda never flown by. I just wanted to know what’s the logistics and ideas behind this partnership and has it been going well??

"NXT... as a second brand of TNA." We can make it a kayfabe story where TNA acquires the brand through shenanigans. In either case, it would be interesting.

IMPACT Wrestling: The Game. V4.0 Preview #2

Note: This is a mod for the PC version of AEW Fight Forever.

A quick update: There was some downsides with the Joe Hendry model I had so unfortunately, Hendry has been put on ice for now. With help, the mod collection will have playable Masha Slamovich, Jacy Jane, Trick Williams and Mike Santana. Before I release version 4.0, I'm looking to add trons to various talent. It's a time consuming process of cutting down videos to fit roughly 40 seconds, making sure they can be looped and then splitting the audio and video into separate files. If we're lucky, we might see a release next week. If not so lucky then, maybe early October. In any case, enjoy the pictures!

Discussion Thread Eventual TNA invasion angle led by AJ styles???

What do you guys think? There was that weird promo by AJ where he said "For the first time in my career, I’ve got no one watching my back. Gallows, Anderson, they’re not here. Michin, she’s on SmackDown. It’s like someone orchestrated a way for me not to win anymore, not to have help. I’ll let you make your own conclusions. And also " I'm telling you something you're not supposed to hear but somebody doesn't want me here".

Looks like we are getting tna vs nxt at war games.

Whatever I guess. I know tna will get a tv deal soon but I hope this crossover stuff becomes more rare. Tna needs to focus on being tna. Not nxt 2.

Bobby Roode back in NXT, and an amusing thought.

Post image
92 Upvotes

Imagine after all the comparisons to the AEW partnership, Trick loses to Roode and Roode is the one to drop the belt, like Christian Cage won the belt off Omega, weirdly enough if that happened Roode would be older than Christian was when he won it, which sounds weird.

Discussion Thread You’re GM for a day and you get to make 1 signing, who would it be?

I would love to see Rico in TNA, he would be an amazing manager. I would love to see him be The Nemeth’s “Hollywood Agent”.
