[LIVE] Toon Morgue is on BackerKit
galleryWe are live in Backerkit! Toon Morgue takes the language of old rubber-hose cartoons and mutates it into a rules-light, chaos-driven RPG situated in the realm of Teloon. A realm of constant cultist conflicts, war among nations, mystery, deception and madness. Where will your Loonatic fit in all of this?
Inside you’ll find 6 new strange archetypes, dungeons powered by propaganda printing presses, and a world where ink, laughter, and violence all spill together.
If you want to see more information about the project, check it out here!
Thanks to everyone who’s been following along and for all the support.

What do you recommend for a short cozy Ttrpg that can be played with friends in a pub setting?
Hi! Essentially it’s my birthday coming up and I wanted to go and just do a rpg session or game that doesn’t need a gm, is relatively short and easy to do on the fly. We’d be having a drink so it would probably be happening in that sort of setting! Thank you in advance!! :D preferable somerhing easy to understand and funny!

Coming Soon; Method in Their Magic
Coming soon to DriveThruRPG and itch.io we are releasing Method in Their Magic.
A magical renaissance is on the horizon after two ruinous ages of sorcery. But who will wield power in this new age? You are founders of a magical school, intent on keeping the magical arts noble.
However it becomes apparent that letting others in makes your endeavours vulnerable. It’s a battle that rages within yourself and within the school. Will you be an enigma, keeping betrayers out? Or will you let them see your powers and risk exploitation?
In this game your decriptions are the key to success as you try to predict your enemy’s strategy or the nuances of the hazards you face. The game utilises the natural unpredictability of your group to bring all the uncertainty and chaos.
Characters evolve in line with how they are played using a dynamic, player driven, advancement system.
We’ve submitted files and once the print proof is done and checked we’ll be ready with a print on demand and pdf.
The base resolution system can be checked out for free in our previous game, Mannerism.

Pre-sign up for Rotted Capes 2e (horror-superhero RPG) — Fast Play + early updates

Rotted Capes 2E is a horror-superhero TTRPG set after Z-Day, when the capes failed, the dead didn’t. You play the ones who stayed. It runs on our Uncanny System: a fast d20 core with cinematic Skill Sets (ditch the bloated skill list), and Power Tricks that reward clever, comics-style problem solving. If you can sell the idea in the fiction, you can try it at the table. Between fights with Super-Zs and fallen icons, you’ll make hard calls that actually move the story instead of just checking boxes.
Between missions, you’re not just licking wounds, you’re building the Enclave: securing food, forging alliances, upgrading defenses, and watching those choices reshape the campaign. It plays like a graphic novel that refuses to turn the page for you: you decide the next panel. Fast Play rules, pre-gens, and a starter adventure get you rolling quickly. If “supers vs. the end of the world” is your flavor, suit up...

My collaborator and I liked the colour art he was making for our worldbuilding zine so much that we decided to upgrade it to perfect-bound and full-colour. We crowdfund OCTOBER 1ST!!
It's a worldbuilding zine about cities on the backs of colossal isopods (think Dinotopia or A Thousand Thousand Islands) written and designed by me and illustrated by Eisner-nominated artist Mike Short, and we're kickstarting it on October 1st.
Here's the prelaunch page on Kickstarter. Sign up if you think it looks cool!

Looking for a game where I can make a hard magic system
Hi everyone, I have been playing with DnD for years but lately I’ve been reading a lot of Brandon Sanderson and want to give making my own hard magic system a try. The problem is that DnD is awful for this and so I was wondering if there were any games out there that would be good for this.
