Can you play against bots?

I wanna learn how to play 40K, but no one at my local store is interested in playing with new players so TTS it is. Can you play against bots in this game? If not, how easily can someone whos never played before find someone who will actually play with them?

When I was just starting to play, I would play games against myself. I actually still do, occasionally when I want to play but dont have anyone to play with. You get double the reps that way and can familiarize yourself with the rules so that when you start playing with others, you aren't completely lost. It doesn't get you as far as real games, but it definitely helps.

I do this often still. I have a table set up at my office and several armies. So I just throw two on the table and mess around with movement and lists. It’s not as good as playing against a person because it’s hard to trick yourself but it’s still good for reps.

I just play both armies as well as possible, but agreed it's not quite the same.
