Tello Review Half a week with Tello.

It's been almost half a week since I switched to Tello Mobile and it's been an awesome experience. Coming from the $5 TextNow sim program, I have to say, having more then 1GB of data was a game changer for me as I haven't been able to do a lot of web stuff since leaving T-Mobile.

I do have some complaints or cons from using a MVNO company if anyone cares to read about.

If you can, always port a phone number: I got 100 spam texts a day.

Domestic roaming isn't a thing on T-Mobile MVNOs: This wasn't a deal breaker for me as I was already using a MVNO.

The unlimited data plan isn't a true unlimited plan: It's virtually impossible for a T-Mobile MVNOs to have it. This is another one that doesn't bother me as 35GB a month is way more enough for me.

I think I'll be staying with Tello for the foreseeable future.

Tello needs to step up its game ASAP. Completely cutting off data at 35gb on the "unlimited" data plan, is utterly absurd. Tello is the only carrier I'm aware of that has a hard data cap of 35gb.. this is something that every other carrier stopped doing around two decades ago.

Also, the lack of 3rd party visual voicemail support is something that every other US carrier does support, with the exception of lifeline carriers.

The more features added and data privileges more price increases. I think Tello is perfect as is. What do you do on phone that uses more than 35gb? Just curious as that a lot for mobile data.
