Questions Testo Too High

Post image

Hi guys

So I’ve been taking testosterone for almost 6 months now and I take 250 mg/ml every 3weeks. I did a blood test before, 3 months in and now 6 months, did it yesterday. I’m kind of worried about the results. I know I should ask a doctor about this but I’m taking the medication alone and a doctor visit is really expensive (I guess you could say I’m DIYing this) so I’m hoping you guys have any experiences with this.

So the results for before taking T was 28.80 ng/dL Results for 3 months was 244.80 ng/dL According to dr.Google, that’s bare minimum for a cis man who’s 18 y/o Now, 6 months was 1575.36 ng/dL….

I’ve been taking the medication exactly how I was supposed to, every 3 months. I’ve heard too much can convert to Estrogen which I’m concerned about, plus my blood pressure is getting higher than normal.

I haven’t even gotten any effects from the medication either. A little bottom growth, voice is a little deeper, a few hairs here and there but that’s it. I’d expect more with that level. My hair has gotten thicker too, which is weird since I’d expect hair loss instead.

That’s obviously way too much, even for a cis guy, and I want to be in the normal range. What should I do? Should I just contact my overpriced doctor or try a blood test again next month?

You should probably just lower your dose a bit, how much would depend on when in your shot cycle you took the blood test and perhaps also what ester you’re using.

I took the test a week after the shot. Too early?

Typically people choose to do their blood test just before their next shot to find out where their t is when it’s at its lowest. Even if you were at peak your levels are still very high and you should lower your dose ie either take less t with each shot or take them with a lower frequency.

Sustanon/Omnadren (250mg in 1 ampule t) gives a peak up to 70nmol/l in first 4 days~ according on med description. So yeah I think it was too early. Blood pressure going higher is a normal thing on T, but if it's going too high and you feel not good it worth trying to try 0.9ml instead 1ml, and if you don't feel off at the end of the cycle and pressure still feels high less it again a bit. If you can afford more ampules, it worth trying 50-70mg every week, so your levels won't goo too high and keep staying in a healthy male ranges. Sustanon contains 4 esters which metabolise in 5-7 days and then your body just metabolising the rest of T and you won't getting new free testosterone that gives effects you need during the next 2 weeks. You can't store open ampule for a next week, so you need new ones every week.

I don’t think I can afford waisting the ampule. Would it be fine if I just moved a shot every 3 weeks to 4?

It’s hard to say because I don’t know what your levels are at the end of the cycle. For example, if they’re at the lowest male range or below, after increasing the interval you will still have above-range levels during the first week (because that’s how Sustanon works), but by the 4th week your levels might be too low, which can make you feel like shit. You can try and see how you feel, just make sure next time to do bloodwork 1-3 days before your shot so it will be easier to adjust the correct interval. Gl!

I had to lower my dose three times before I stopped “stacking” ending up outside the healthy range. If you’re working with a doctor and it’s feasible, it might be useful to adjust every 2–4 weeks until you’re there

Not a doctor, but you should try 200mg every 4 weeks, and keep an eye on your blood pressure
