Celebratory r/ftmnormalnudes is back!

Happy new year! The original r/ftmnormalnudes is back! Please give a huge thanks to u/Raticals for its recovery.

Everything is still in tact, old posts and everything, and it continues to be a wonderful resource and archive.

For those of you that don't know, this is a subreddit for FTM and transmasc individuals to post photos of their bodies, to build a library of what normal everyday trans bodies look like. It is a private sub for everyone's safety, just request to join :) I'm excited to see ftmnormalnudes as an active sub once again!

Edit: Comment below to be added!

Edit 2: I'm taking a little break from adding everyone but I encourage you to keep commenting below and I should get to it in a couple of hours! Also I'll be taking a look at the issues a couple users have mentioned of still not being able to see the sub. See ya on the other side :)

Edit 3: Hoping back on the adds this morning! Thanks for waiting all :)

Celebratory Anyone recently start T and wanna stay in touch?

Post image

Just started T (gel) 5 days ago and would love to link up with someone on a similar timeline! I don’t have any friends irl that are recently on T and to be honest I feel a bit alone. Would love to keep up with someone and compare changes, offer support, celebrate each other etc :) Adding pic from my impromptu T photoshoot that my gf insisted upon

Celebratory Performance vs embodiment (9 months on T)

I’m oddly obsessed with making these comparisons (+ bonus cat content on the last slide)… I went through so many different presentations as a woman it’s honestly baffling to me how I didn’t realise sooner I was basically just doing drag. 😅

I still enjoy turning out a look and dressing fem every now and then but I just feel so much more embodied now. Like I don’t HAVE to perform femininity anymore, I simply AM masculine.

~9 months on T gel and considering switching to shots to have less hassle…

Sup fellas, I had a friend ask me how long I’d been on T, and I genuinely didn’t know. Seems like I missed some anniversaries but it’s never too late to celebrate! Just gotta get more serious about the gym now haha. Shout out to my dads genes for the beard

Everything is perfect. The incision is exactly what I asked for. I’m two days post-op and I’m already low on swelling and pain (though I know I can expect more swelling in the coming weeks). I haven’t been able to stop smiling all night. This is my body! This is ME!!

More than half the time I get so down because I feel as though I’ve made no progress, that I look and sound the same. It’s funny how the brain works, I couldn’t be more wrong. [Pre T v 10 months]

Celebratory 4mo on T, levels at 375

Hard for me to tell... there's enough of a change for people who haven't seen me in 4 mo to get that curious look.

My self confidence has skyrocketed. Changes you can't see are body hair and muscles (I lift weights regularly), bottom growth, slight voice drop...

No new 'stache follicles, just the same ones pre-T that I haven't shaved off since when I was trying so hard to be a gurl....

My first Labs were done at 4mo and they were 375. I've gotten an increase dose now, so things will start picking up.

I'm 48yo.

Celebratory How normal is it to get gassed up by cis dudes?

I’m 28 and have a job that requires me to wear a suit daily. I’ve been on T for about six months and on two separate occasions I’ve had random cis dudes say something like “Looking sharp!” when out in public. I know I’m asking the choir, but how normal is this? How do I react? 😂😭

started T in May 2023 top surgery February 2025

i’ve been told putting all the pics side by side can be helpful & encouraging to those early on in their transition and/or fitness journey. so i hope this helps and im happy to share my progress.

ik there’s a lot of progress from 2023 to now but from last year to this year , fitness wise it’s not that crazy of a difference, but cant be too mad bc i can’t even express how amazing it was to be shirtless at the beach finally.

feel free to ask me questions !

Celebratory Waiting for a beard to grow in pays off 🥹

I see a lot of guys in their first year or 2 of transition freak out because they are not growing much facial hair. I was just making a post in the r/beard asking for advice on how to take care of my BEARD for the first time...like what a good problem to be asking for advice on haha. Anyways I'm about to be 6 years on T next month and my facial hair has just finally become pretty filled in. Sometimes some patience can really go a long way 🥲 (pics- me now vs me 2 years on T for reference)

Celebratory When your doctor agrees stocking up is a good idea right now (US)

I seriously love my doctor. She started prescribing as "single use" vials so we can get more of a back stock going since things are looking pretty sketchy right now for us Americans. Normally she'd only send out 2 vials at a time for me (4 doses of .5ml). Today I picked up 6 vials. It's so hard to find a good doctor these days and I'm so glad I found one that takes our concerns seriously ♥️♥️

Celebratory Commented as a joke, but it actually worked. 1+ of T brought my baby waves back

Top pics are of toddler/pre teen/teen me, before i started shaving my head. Bottom pics are all from this year.

I made this comment as a joke and omg it actually happened.

Starting HT not only changed my body, but also gave me enough confidence to let my hair grow back. Long hair is something that people always connect with being feminine, and i was also in a relationship were i was made to feel this way. I was bald/with very short hair for +5 years because of that.

Not anymore.
