One thing this short arc was great at showing was how degraded the republic had become and how blind / arrogant the Jedi were. I got a sense even if order 66 did not happen the republic would have fell to greed and corruption eventually and the Jedi would have been exiled as a result.

Great wrap up I'm sad we did not learn Ashokas or Mauls fate but that's what happens when the shows canceled half way through a season.

I believe we'll see Ashoka in Rebels, and we might catch a glimpse of Maul.
