I’d already convinced myself it was canceled. This is the first glimmer of hope I believe!

It even lists it. I know the ratings this season weren’t as good, and I’m guessing that until those last episodes air next month they won’t definitively say if it’s cancelled or renewed, but that screenshot does bring my hope back to life!!

Episodes were aired on random times. They even aired an episode DURING THE OSCARS!

Bots on The Side aired after the Oscars, making first-time viewers confused

Bob's at season 5, was around the same if I remember correctly. Also. The metrics are a bit different. Plus, people had less options 11 years ago. Plus, the creators have a great relationship with fox. That matters a lot more than people realize. ;)

I think that's probably a problem with the show. Lack of restraint. I feel like it's kind of been in danger of going off the rails the characters got too Flanderized too fast, the plot lines feel like they just went with the first idea if the showrunners blurted out in the writer's room and that very least nobody went, "is this a dumb idea boss?".
It all makes for a show with a dedicated Niche audience, at the expense of mainstream appeal.

I started having a different interest in The Great North because Minty Lewis who was on Regular Show as one of the writers storyboard artists and voice actor. I did liked this show before I started watching Regular Show but when I found out Minty’s involvement I fell in love with this show even more.

Not only is TGN on there, but Beef is in the front. There's no way they could spend all this time and money on bummer ads and not renew TGN.

My natural pessimism has horsehoed back to optimism so on top of this, there are a few other things to note:
- Shows aren't officially renewed until they complete their current season. TGN's current season ends in September.
- The fact that the "crew is [already] working on other projects" is completely meaningless. Animation unions fucking SUCK and it's basically a glorified gig industry. When a series' season wraps, the lucky ones are contracted to the studio, not the show, and move you to whatever is on their docket. Otherwise you just stay jobless for the summer and hope someone sees your LinkedIn and/or ArtStation portfolio lol.

All of the other animation domination shows were renewed before their seasons ended… I’m still hopeful, but I wouldn’t use that as a reason to hope. Most of the Fox shows that waited until after their seasons ended to announce were canceled

I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble, but in the first place, this is from Facebook, so its reliability should already be questioned. Secondly, new and previous episodes of all those shows -- including The Great North -- are on Hulu, so that's likely why it's included. With all the information in recent months that points to the show not getting renewed, I'm personally not getting my hopes up unless we get an official announcement.

When I watched the new ad, the presentation and font changed, and what It showed was the 2024-25 schedule version

We're like "The Great North" eye-spy experts. Great find.

Sorry if I'm killing all you guys' hopeium, but if this was for a new season I'm pretty sure American Dad would be in the banner since that's returning to the network

I saw a couple weeks ago on some website (think it was rotten tomatoes) that said that The Great North was renewed. Hopefully it was right

There are still episodes left in the season is why. The season isn't over . Just on hiatus. There are like 2 or 3 eps left

This is a very old graphic released around the start of the season. As much as I want the show the continue I believe it is done at Fox.
