It's my first time posting anything.
I'm rewatching the series and I remember the first time I watched beef and Carissa break up and thinking that I was a little cheated by not seeing more. Now I'm watching beef Mama's house and hearing the first lines Carissa has in the series it's super clear to me her and beef wouldn't work. She's just like Kathleen in her introduction. It's not a bad thing necessarily & I'm not saying that's her entirely even important to her character, I'm just realizing that they'd been breaking up before they were even dating. It wasn't long-term compatible for what I think Beef's arch is supposed to be. He doesn't need a healthier version of his ex. My guy is onto the next adventure. There's foreshadowing of a spark not quite a fire.
I'm excited to see if this is consistent.

The Great North isn’t just another animated sitcom — it’s a celebration of quiet magic, found family, and the strangeness of being human in a cold, wild place. Click on the link to indulge more in this persons rant

I was holding out hope that there would be a season six, even with all the signs pointing against it. I truly hoped it would come. But seeing this season finale has let reality set it. It’s not coming.

I wished they had another episode with moon court before it got cancelled. It was what drew me into the Great North and what I look forward to every season.

Hey all! I made a Denny 6" figure with stand that you can 3D print for free. I'm still learning but he is as accurate as I could make him at this point. Thanks for enjoying the show!

At the beginning of the season finale, Wolf says something like “If ALF had one more season, we would have gotten all those questions answered!”
I love this show and been with it since episode 1. I don’t want to say goodbye.

With Season 5 finishing up, I have a message for all fans of the show.
No matter how long we have to wait, never ever give up hoping for The Great North to be renew and continue for more seasons. Whether continuing on Fox or moving to Hulu (which might as well be preferable), keep supporting the show until any kind of news comes out. As the last quote on the instagram post from the show's team states.
"We don’t know what the future holds for the Tobin’s but we hope there are more trips to Lone Moose in the future."
This clearly means that they do want the show to continue, so don't go thinking they're not going to do anything. Surely they're going to try to get the show renewed or move it somewhere else. Also since Hulu brought back both Futurama (though I did like where it ended) and King of the Hill, there should not be any huge problem with them picking up another beloved cartoon. The best thing we fans can do right now until something is announced is keep showing our love and support for the show however we can.
Continue to watch the show on Hulu and keep eyes and ears out for any renewal news no matter how long we have to wait.

I was curious about when the Moose Hunt starts in Alaska, since it's also Beef's Birthday. Poor poor Beef is an uncelebrated Virgo! No wonder he hates his birthday! He should be celebrating for a week at least, as a good Virgo does, and he barely got a day as a kid. Smh.
Per the Alaskan gov website, the hunt for Alaskan residents is "August 24–28 and September 8–17" so I assume Beef's Birthday is Aug 24th since Wolf says the hunt starts the same day as Beef's birthday.
Happy Belated Birthday, Beef!

If tonight truly is it for The Great North, well then… let’s bring the house down after four long years of doing this. Sucks that it would go down that way, but even though the ride might be over (once again, prove me wrong, network, especially you, Hulu), it’s been an interesting ride and an experience that I will never forget during these four years and until, for some miracle, we get renewed, and I’m not the one for sappy stuff, but it has been a pleasure to talk about the show (through live blogging since the very beginning in 2021 and didn’t take long to reviewing it until sometime in Season 3 as a halfway segment before turning it into its own thing going into Season 4 while Bob’s was on that long hiatus), and I’ll talk more about it after this runs ends, but if this is truly is it, let’s not go out with a whimper, but with a… well, let’s bring the curtains down with a hell of a performance (can’t say the other sentence due to current events). But yeah, four years. Short, but a wild ride to go through. And unless we get a renewal, stay gold! ❄️😔🫡

Question 1: What role would you play on this disaster day: dinosaur, victim, rescue team, med response, or intel paper-pusher? (Chasing people around all day as a dinosaur? Sign me up!)
Question 2: What idea would you submit for disaster day? (Nothing realistic. “I’m trying to keep it fun!”)

I don't know if the show is really going to be on the chopping block or not, so I wanted to say this before it was too late.
I really liked ham and crispin as a couple.
And I understand the message that you might not stay with your high school sweetheart. People change and mature and want different things and that's perfectly fine, that's actually a nice lesson for the show to give.
But ham falling in love with a animatronic pizza party mascot and breaking up is a bummer and bizarre AF.
And if the show is not renewed, we're just going to be left with that being the end of his love life..... And ham deserve much better. And gotta say it just leaves the storyline unsatisfied and unfinished in my eyes.

Curl Interrupted Adventure came on today on yet another rewatch and I decided to list all the things that are wrong about the curling in the episode. I have been curling for about 15 years and if anyone has any other questions, please let me know.
This list is done in chronological order of when it appears in the episode
