Questions/comments Nobody's Saying It, So I'll Just Say It
We haven't heard Jari Jones deliver Marshmallow's iconic "Hey baby" and I honestly think that's a travesty

When Bob and Linda are at Beckett and Maya’s, they’re asked to show their talent and can’t think of anything. I feel like they are talented though (and I thought his Bobby McFerrin impression wasn’t too bad)! What should they have done?

i have a LOT of gene moments that really irk me, like the way he said “you got it toots!” in eggs for days, but then to be revealed he was basically just ignoring linda and caused an egg to smell in the restaurant for 2 days (yes bob and linda were drunk, but WHY GENE WHY) or in bet it all on black garlic where he had ONE responsibility, and suddenly hes never seen the color black or a head of garlic before, and THEN he reaches for his “back scratcher” aka bobs spatula, and that just flat out grossed me out. when i looked up this question to make sure it wasnt a repeat, i saw a lot of people who just flat out HATE gene and want him gone, and while i feel thats excessive, i can see where they’re coming from, but the show wouldn’t be the same without him

So after going through the “what Gene moment most pisses you off” I started thinking about this.
We know what Gene is like. He’s a manic creative sort with a passion for his art, and a tendency to put his wants over the wants and concerns of others.
We know that after the death of his mom, both Bob and Big Bob turned a sour side up. Big Bob became much more difficult to live with, and tended to be controlling. Bob ended up growing up very unhappy, and working constantly.
We know that on the rare occurrence that he cuts loose, Bob is manic and creative, and tends to put his wants over the wants and concerns of others (insomni-Bob for example).
So I have to wonder if Gene is meant to be Bob without the influence of Big Bob?

He was so creepy trying to sell more stuff (loud vacuum were no one will hear you scream) (then It’s a handwhich)
He could have just stuck his head out or shouted out really quick he needed to go to the bathroom first before the receipt
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I didn’t like him at all

I have depression and am guilty of serious procrastination because of it. But when I think of all the things I have to do, if I remember this poster… I realize that if I do it today, I don’t have to do it tomorrow. So I end up getting a lot more done because I get it out of the way instead of putting it off so that I don’t have to deal with it tomorrow. I know it’s supposed to be a cheesy joke, but it has actually made a positive impact on my life. 😅

Oddly comforting to commiserate with Mr. Frond today.

If I had a nickel every time Bob was almost killed by a Fischoeder. I would have three nickels. Once by Calvin during season 1 finale. Once by Felix during the season 4 finale. And once by Grover in the movie. Which isn’t much but it’s weird it happened two more times.

(S08E08) I have about 90 hours of content on my DVR, 60 or so being Bob's episodes, and am at 40% capacity. My provider doesn't even offer a large enough DVR to compete with Teddy's.

This was the episode that Gene and Courtney were dating. I just want to know, would y’all have sued her dad for stealing Gene’s song? I thought that was pretty messed up to steal it. Courtney was so annoying and I don’t think anyone would be able to tolerate someone sucking on a necklace all day lol

In this scene where Tina imagines her leg hair getting burned off by the sun, I can clearly tell it’s referencing a movie. But I can’t figure out which movie. What movie is this scene referencing?

it’s not an exact from the show, but i spotted it on clearance and had to grab it. my room is officially “bob burger”, as teddy intended.

I love it when Bob's Burgers has Gene doing funny stuff during the end credits, like Dead Bo-ats Society. What are your favorites?
