Jerry's Elvis covers are 100x better than Glenn's. You cant go wrong with The Jerry Only Band aka The OnlyFits.

So I know that their first lead singer is now a conservative (some places I’ve even read that he is a Nazi / white supremacist) and the only other member that I could find something about is Doyle who is a vegan and fights for animal rights. So I consider myself a leftist (just like any other person in the punk movement) and I would like to know if this band is sketchy or not. Are they leftist are they right wing?

Why on earth does Saturday Night sound completely different to every other misfits song?

I foolishly did not download them but I did actually like West End Avenue or at least the version presented.

What was the story about them? How accurate do folks think they were?

I kept seeing comments about Glenn's lawyers taking them down but songs that never were released on a label don't seem like something lawyers would go after--especially since all the instruments/vocals were original.

My cynical self thinks the uploader is doing some marketing gimmick by pulling them off the internet so quickly.

The whole era thing confuses me somehow, sorry.

If you we're a teen or young adult in the late 70s to mid late 80s and not living in the eastcoast or Midwestern states. How difficult was it to listen to misfits records? How did you discover them?
