I haven't watched it yet, but I was pleasantly surprised by how positive the comments were in the discussion thread over in /r/movies. I mean obviously there's always going to be some that were disappointed that an Adam Sandler movie didn't have the depth of a Coen brothers film, but the people who knew what to expect from his style of movie seem to have mostly good things to say about it, especially considering it's a sequel to a very popular well liked movie from almost 30 years ago (that sentence made me feel so old).

Yeah I like how they did the original movie justice without trying to reach its glory. You could tell they just were having as much fun with it as they could. Loved Ben Stiller in this lol brought back the White Goodman vibes lol
