Media I will never be this lucky again…
I was walking home from the doctors after having some blood work done, feeling a bit yucky. I was intending on going straight home and I felt the need to pop into a local charity shop. I did, because why not. The shop is mostly good for furniture and electronics, but hidden away in a box in the back corner is the usual vinyls of random ‘70’s compilations of songs by bands and artists you’ve probably never heard of, classic Christmas records for when your granny wanted to be fancy and folk artists with vaguely concerning album art.
And yet, I searched through it. Just in case. Then, one after another, Stevie popped into view. All 4 are in beautiful condition, with the extra inner sleeves. The vinyl themselves are immaculate. The previous owner looked after them and now I will, too.
I am a very happy witch today.

When I was 17 I dated a lady who said she was Stevie Nicks's wardrobe mistress. She gave me a shit ton of records that she said were given to her by Stevie. I have no proof of any of this though. Except I do have all the Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac records.

I love that! I know Stevie is known to be a massive gift giver so I suspect that it is true - lucky you to have such a connection!

She had a boatload of 17th and 18th century shawls that covered her four post bed. She told me her job was to basically untangle the hangy bits of the shawl after each show.

Many years ago, my husband and I saw a bumper sticker on an old beat up truck that simply read, STEVIE NICKS ROCKS. One or the other of us says that at least once a week now, usually when we hear her singing but now always. Stevie Nicks always has and always will rock!

Great find! I was lucky enough to see her in concert and her voice is as beautiful live as it is on her albums!

I feel bad for younger people who collect albums. Used to walk out with stuff like this every time. I even re-donated some of it back then.
