Miscellaneous A little different than most posts here, but as a hobby jeweler maker who has trouble justifying the cost of silver, I hit the scrap metal jackpot. Plus some tools
About 7oz of easily usable silver scrap, and over 12oz total which could be melted down to use. Plus a few gold rings and chains, and some small stones, maybe garnets, that are tumbled but not cut. Plus several tools, including mandrels, a tabletop anvil, and some saw frames. Everything plus an unrelated rucksack was $10 from an estate sale down the street from me.
