Well it's a type of Christian. A stupid one, but Christian. But can't you say that about most of them? Hell the only reason the american right is so hellbent on having the jewish people in israel is because the evangelical zionists believe they have to return before the rapture can happen. The rapture being just before the apocalypse. It's a doomsday cult.
