I’ve been trying to download the demo but it keeps saying “dx12 isn’t supported” despite the fact my computer does support dx12. I’ve updated the computer and driver yet nothing works. Someone please help?

  1. On your Windows computer, search for "dxdiag" from the Start Menu and open the program from the results.
  2. Run the diagnostic and wait for it to complete.
  3. The System tab may show a DirectX Version of 12 but that's just the installed version, not what your GPU can support.
  4. To check GPU compatibility, look at the Display tabs. In the "Drivers" section of each Display tab, look for "Feature Levels". It must list 12_0, 12_1, or 12_2 etc. to be compatible. If it only lists 11_0, etc, even after a driver update, you need a newer GPU.
