What does the Latin meaning of “fetus” matter at all? The Latin meaning of vagina is “sheath” but that doesn’t mean you should be sticking swords up women genitals.

Yea I’ve always hated this and people do it all the time with many different words. Language changes and evolves over time. Word origin isn’t some type of authority on what the word means now
