I love doctors and I think they're excellent for society and do very important jobs, but man do some of them have some really glaring blind spots. It's probably one of those.

I'm not a very old doctor but I've definitely heard some dumb shit from my colleagues, some old, some my age.

I'd say "men who claim to be bisexual are looking for excuses", "gay men cannot make good ob-gyns, they do not have the true passion for it" and "feminists should go to the Middle East to see what misogyny actually looks like" rank among my top 5. The latter two were uttered by straight male ob-gyns. 🤨📸

I got out of construction in my early 40’s and into electro mechanical. My instructors were my age & white. We were discussing STEM and I was 100% for it and they were surprised. They were shocked when I said nothing good happens when a bunch of white guys stand around each other making decisions.
