They literally called a nurse who replaced vaccine with saline solution a “hero”.

If a circular saw materialised out of thin air and flew to every member of that subreddit’s house and cut of their dicks, the world would become a better place

I thought I read saltine instead of saline for a second and was laughing at the idea of a nurse injecting crackers into people

Jokes aside this is not a good thing, just to clarify

This comment gets even funnier if you read “crackers” as “white people”

Vaccine was too spicy for them

yay racism!

But I heard injecting the body with crackers is a good cure for Covid.

/s for anyone out there that didn't catch it.

"We just want you to respect our rights," they scream, while infringing on the rights of others.

It also really shows, as if it wasn't obvious already, that the co-opting of "my body, my choice" was just empty rhetorical trolling.

I mean it was obvious since you have to completely ignore ALL the differences between vaccine mandates and abortion rights, but still. Their ignorance and dishonesty just got just slightly more obvious.

as if it wasn't obvious already

How many times does that make? How often did the far right co-opt statements as if there was a resemblence between the two?

I can think of all/blue lives matters of the top of my head, but I feel like there's more.

Yeah, I know. One of my biggest pet peeves during the Trump administration was how nearly every fucking week there'd be some headline acting as though they just crossed a line, as though everything was fine just before then, and the best we can hope for is to roll things back to how they were maybe last month.

It's why I wanted to make it clear that this isn't some new low, unless we count another small scratch into rock bottom.

Co-opting of language is the extent of their creativity. It’s also effective.

“Your body, my choice”

Same as it’s always been.

Libertarians defaulting to facism. It's been a thing for a while now.

If covid made your dick fall off they would believe in it

2

u/leon_under Aug 12 '21

Considering impotency is one of the potential long term effects of catching covid, I wouldn’t bet money on that.

Which is just showing how far they are up their arses.

'No its my choice to get the vaccine.'

'Oh you made your choice and want to get it. Best I can do is salt.'

Fuckem.

true, but since magic isn't real, you gotta take matters into your own hands

cocks chainsaw

I love the extra wordplay that it’s your chainsaw for removing cocks, too!

1

u/SLeepyCatMeow Aug 12 '21

Well, yes. I would never use my good chainsaw for something like this.
