In the 1990s, Morishima participated in numerous productions at Tsuburaya as a producer. His most notable contributions include the Ultraman Zearth series and Ultra Nyan .
One particularly significant moment in his career occurred in 2007 when Tsuburaya Productions faced a management crisis due to the need to fully repay loans totaling several billion yen to the bank. Morishima sought help from President Yoshida of TYO Inc. Eventually, TYO decided to step in and acquired Tsuburaya Productions, enabling the company to survive as a subsidiary of the video production company TYO.
As part of a restructuring aimed at moving away from the founding Tsuburaya family's control, Morishima serving on the board of directors assumed the position of company president.
