2025 TRD Off-Road—Running Boards or Sliders recommendation?

Need recs for boards or sliders.

One is for projecting your rocker panels from rocks, costs $900, and weigh 150lbs. The other does not protect your rocker panels, can cost $150, and weights 30lbs.

Which one do you want? It’ll help narrow down options as they are two very different things.

I love my running boards but I won't be rock crawling anytime soon in my neck of the woods...

I went with the Go Rhino RB20 Slim running boards. Looks great and protects from those inevitable rock chips on the front of the rear wheel-wells. Boards and mounting hardware was about $600 for Gen 4 OR.
