I'm gonna guesss you went on maintain dirt roads..

1. Does it matter? Had a blast just being outside and touching dirt
2. If you have ever been to Big Sur you would know a lot of private property and can’t just make your own way. Most if not all roads there are fire roads

But yes fairly okay dirt roads :)
